“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”.- Malcolm X

A bright student does not necessarily need to be naturally brilliant. “Really…?”

A smart student is simply a student, just like everyone else who studies brilliantly, cooperating with how their brain naturally works, and definitely not working against it. In a nutshell, it’s in fact an individual — who knows how to harness their strengths and refine their weaknesses. “Hm, sounds like a superhuman, doesn’t it?”

“So how could then a student stand out of the rest”?

You can be an amazing student, by following these 6 recipes of the powerful formula, as seen below.

A. Be willing to ask questions: Most millenniums are afraid or hesitant on raising questions, during the subject class hour, when teachers explain a few certain topics. Remember, you are a student afterall, and you have every right to gain — your passport in the future

B. Do-It: When delegated with homework, which has to be completed within a certain timeframe, do them either during your spare time, at the library or after school. Avoid making excuses and simply do-them. This will turn you into a glorious conqueror of wisdom.

C. Revise: Ever heard about the saying “Repetition is the mother of all learning”. Putting into easier and comprehensive wording — Revising again and again — helps you understand and keeps everything you learn fresh, as well as your mind well-versed.

D. Study in quite areas: This may sound a bit self-explanatory, but endeavour finding areas to study where there is peace and quiet, as play areas swarmed with many vivid kids shouting or perhaps a coffee shop, with loads of surrounding hassle and bustle will definitely not be your favourite cup of tea options.

E. Make your teachers your friends: “Remember… the teachers’ role is to aide you become a better you”. Use this incredible opportunity for your own benefit! Simply listen, respect them and a good gut-feeling of mine is telling me that the results will be favourable for you!

F. Get active: “To enjoy the glow of good health, you must exercise” — Gene Tunney. Get involved into sports, music, arts and crafts, volunteering activities, political debate socials, so you could hone your own niche. High grades don’t always mean everything on a scholarship or university entrance application. On the other hand, if you enrich your CV with extracurricular badges, volunteering contributions, and other achievements these factors will provide you with the necessary and competitive boost to capture everyone’s heart.

Over to you: What do you think makes an awesomely smart prodigy and good student (other than you)?
