The academic year has started quite a long time ago, yet many school districts, local communities and families are still grappling with difficult questions of how to return back to the ‘old-school’ in-person sessions?

Have to be honest, face to face classes have their unique and magical touch.

Let’s examine some possible scenarios on how we could tackle those issues and get back to our day to day norms.

The Pros and Cons of Bringing The Kids Back to School

Hurricane Irma and its aftermath are yet another reminder of just how many hazards a school is exposed to in the Florida Keys, back in 2017. So many hazards yet hidden dangers that are easily overlooked, by an unsuspecting public.

The anti-vaxxers were the last to wake up to the hazards of the influenza Pandemic, back in 2009. Nonetheless, there is one possible way that parents can ensure that the school is prepared to recover from any future pandemics, such as the one that is waiting to further strike.

The students must be educated and parents can help their children to be fully informed, so they can safeguard themselves. We can stop pandemics before they strike. Epidemics occur every 5–10 years. During the 2009 influenza pandemic, there were 49,859 death cases and 284,000 hospitalisation incidents. This number was only slightly lower than the two previous pandemics of 1918 and 1957.

How to Open the Schools Safely

With schools being back in sessions and opening up again, the flu pandemic is striking again and many people are getting worried.

A parent will be concerned that there might be not a sufficient number of vaccine doses or not yet rolled out for their kids, and thus many people will consider it a good idea, to keep the kids home to protect them from getting the flu. That could be one plausible option since the flu is contagious.

Remember the flu is a sickness and we must prioritise our health.

The flu does not make any exceptions, no matter the age, race or religion. You may be thinking that you and your family are intact and healthy, leading to safe allegations, but is that really true? Maybe you’re right, maybe you’re safe, but what about otherwise?. Is it prudent and safe to get the kids back to school? Yet, many parents are deeply concerned.

What to do if it’s not possible to open the schools

In a pandemic, if it’s not possible to open the schools, where should we find out what will be happening and how we can best react in case of an epidemic? “Flu Pandemic: How Safe is it to Get the Kids Back to School?” When you look at the title, and then study the information below, it looks like a world full of danger but it’s not.

There’s something else you should think about when you look at these articles. To mitigate such circumstances, you could consider enrolling your kids for online tuition sessions, register them virtually with language schools, so as to plausibly learn a language or even spend some more quality time, all together, as a family.
